WHCT 2023 Annual General Meeting

The Trust had the pleasure of hosting our 2023 Annual General Meeting on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023, at the Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre. At the meeting we discussed the state of the board, the Trust’s annual accounts, annual community development activity, and the progress of the 36 projects for improvement proposed by the Wester Hailes Local Place Plan. This was paired with a discussion on local democracy, a delicious community meal, and complimentary childcare, all of which was sponsored by the Scottish Government Democracy Matters initiative which aims to improve the local democracy of communities across Scotland.

It was brilliant to discuss the annual activity of the Trust, along with what we’d like to accomplish in the coming year, with old and new members alike.
