WHCT at the 2023 Wester Hailes Big Winter Celebration

The Trust had the pleasure of co-creating and partaking in the Community Wellbeing Collective Big Winter Celebration on December 16th in collaboration with Starcatchers, Tasting Change, WHALE Arts, and Big Noise. The day was spent creating festive arts and crafts, hosting a spiritual exchange, sharing a community meal, carol singing with Big Noise, drinking lots of hot chocolate, and passing around an open mic which saw recipes shared, poetry performed, christmas songs sung, and interpretive Kate Bush dances danced! It was a truly beautiful afternoon/evening of festive gathering and community spirit, with upwards of 90 participants joining in on the fun. Here’s to even more collaborative community events in the new year!
