WHCT at the 2023 Edinburgh Canal Festival

The Trust was super pleased to attend the 2023 Edinburgh Canal Festival on June 17th. Our stall was located by the Leamington Lift Bridge in Fountainbridge and was filled with information on all of the amazing local organisations and events in Wester Hailes, as well information on the Local Place Plan. In accordance with LPP Project 13 , Canal Improvements, we attended the festival with the intention of letting everyone know about all that Wester Hailes has to offer and to connect with other canalside communities in Edinburgh. The day was spent meeting wonderful members of the community doing just that!
