Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre

On Thursday, August 31st the Trust had the pleasure of celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre. The event was put on by the Health Agency in collaboration with a number of other community organisations. The event included community information stalls by the Trust, Wester Hailes Growing Communities, Starcatchers, Wester Haven, The Community Wellbeing Collective, and JustKids, just to name a few. There was also a free community meal by Tasting Change, yoga classes, live music by BigNoise, and a custom made cake in the shape of the Healthy Living Centre by SweetNaz! It was wonderful to be able to come together and celebrate 10 years of the HLC and the vital role that it plays in the community. We were even treated with some warm weather and were able to soak up the sunshine on the new Trust sponsored patio furniture! Here’s to many more years of the HLC!
